The Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, has denied reports of a special subsidised housing programme for employees of the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) or free nutritious meal kitchens (MBG), stating that such benefits are open to all eligible individuals. This follows media reports citing a meeting between the Rector of the Defence University and the Minister of Housing, which suggested plans for 1,000 FLPP-subsidised units with minimal down payments for these workers, but both the ministry and BP Tapera have confirmed no special allocations exist. The clarification underscores the government's commitment to equitable access to low-income housing under the FLPP scheme, targeting households earning between Rp8.5 million and Rp14 million monthly across various professions.",

This issue gained
attention after several media outlets widely reported the information.
As reported by Investortrust.id on Wednesday, 23 April 2026, the plan
was said to have been conveyed by the Rector of the Defence University,
Jonni Mahroza, after holding a meeting with the Minister of Housing and
Settlement Areas (PKP), Maruarar Sirait, at the Ministry of PKP office,
Wisma Mandiri 2, Jakarta, on Tuesday, 22 April 2025.

In that report, it was stated that the government plans to distribute
1,000 units of subsidised housing for Indonesian Development Driver
Graduates (SPPI) who serve in MBG kitchens. The government will use the
Housing Finance Liquidity Facility (FLPP) scheme with a light down
payment of only about 1 per cent or Rp1.8 million.

The Rector of the Defence University, Jonni Mahroza, and the Minister
of PKP have not responded to Tempo’s confirmation requests regarding the
truth of this plan. Meanwhile, when contacted separately, the
Commissioner of the People’s Housing Savings Management Agency (BP
Tapera), Heru Pudyo Nugroho, who distributes the subsidised housing
programme, also confirmed that there is no special allocation for SPPG
employees.

“I convey that there is no special FLPP quota allocation for SPPG
Employees.
