        "content": "<p>JAKARTA \u2013 The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has stated that it has\nnever collaborated with any organisation or business group in the\nregistration process for Nutrition Service Points (SPPG) under the Free\nNutritious Meals (MBG) programme.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Head of BGN, Sony Sonjaya, said SPPG point registrations are\nhandled independently by foundations via the official partner portal at\nmitra.bgn.go.id.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018BGN once again confirms it has never partnered with any organisation\nor business group for SPPG point registrations. It is solely the\nfoundations that register,\u2019 Sony stated at a press conference at the\nBareskrim Police Headquarters in Jakarta on Monday (25 May 2026).<\/p>\n<p>He added that perpetrators have claimed to be close associates of BGN\nofficials or even impersonated them to offer SPPG registration services\nfor payment.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The complainants are victims of fraud by individuals posing as BGN\nofficials\u2019 close contacts or even claiming to be officials themselves,\noffering to handle SPPG registrations in exchange for money,\u2019 he\nexplained.<\/p>\n<p>Sony said police in West Java had arrested suspects in the fraud\ncase.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018In West Java Police, there was one police report, which I monitored\nyesterday \u2013 the suspects have already been apprehended,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<p>Sony revealed that victims in the West Java case suffered losses of\nRp 1.9 billion across 21 complainants.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018There are 21 victims, with average losses of Rp 100 million per\nperson,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n<p>In one instance, the perpetrators first registered SPPG points to\nobtain initial identification, but did not actually establish the\nfacilities.<\/p>\n<p>They then offered assistance to others to obtain SPPG points,\nclaiming connections with BGN officials.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018He offered his services as if he were a BGN official or had\nconnections, saying \u201cI can help you,\u201d leading to transactions,\u2019 Sony\nsaid.<\/p>",
