It stressed that registration must be done directly via the official portal without intermediaries, as part of efforts to combat deceptive practices targeting the public.

Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for Operational
Nutrition Fulfillment, Sony Sonjaya, has stated there is no
collaboration with any party regarding the registration of Nutrition
Service Points (SPPG). Sony made the statement in response to widespread
reports of alleged fraud involving the registration of SPPG locations,
where individuals demand money from the public. SPPG registration is
done independently via the official portal mitra.bgn.id, with no
intermediaries involved. “The registration process for SPPG locations is
conducted by foundations through the mitra.bgn.id portal. There, the
foundation’s identity is verified. Once verified, they proceed to input
the requested location data and begin construction and progress
updates,” he said during a press conference at Bareskrim Polri in
Jakarta on Monday. Sony also revealed several fraud schemes currently
circulating, including individuals posing as BGN officials or claiming
special access to the agency. “Typically, the perpetrators first
register themselves, then after obtaining SPPG credentials, they do not
proceed with construction but instead offer to act as BGN officials or
claim connections to help secure location points, leading to
transactions,” he explained. Sony also stated that groups impersonating
foundations claim to handle multiple location requests, demanding
payments ranging from Rp20 million to Rp50 million from the public.
Additionally, there are schemes mimicking non-governmental organisations
(NGOs) that set up companies and promise access to Free Nutritious Meals
(MBG) kitchen points in exchange for tens of millions of rupiah. “BGN
has never collaborated with any organisation or company for SPPG
location registration. It is solely foundations that register,” he
concluded.
",
