The legal representative for former Deputy Head of the National
Nutrition Agency (BGN) Sony Sonjaya, Krisna Murti, has revealed that 41
names are allegedly involved in requesting allocations for the
Nutritional Fulfilment Service Points (SPPG). The statement was made
following Sonjaya’s examination as a suspect at the Attorney General’s
Office for Junior Prosecutors for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) on Thursday
(18/6).

Krisna explained that this number has increased from the 26 names
previously circulating in public. This addition is based on direct
testimony provided by his client to investigators during an examination
that lasted approximately nine hours.

“The total is 41 names, consisting of the previous 26 names plus
several additional names conveyed by Mr Sony during the examination,”
Krisna stated in Jakarta.

According to Krisna, the list of names that has surfaced originates
from political circles. However, he has yet to detail the specific
identities or the roles of each party in the alleged scramble for SPPG
point allocations.

During the examination, investigators also probed into the alleged
practice of buying and selling SPPG points. Regarding this matter,
Krisna claimed that his client had no knowledge of any commercial
transactions after the points were distributed to the relevant
parties.

“After the points were given, Mr Sony did not know whether the points
were traded or not,” he added. He also asserted that Sony Sonjaya denied
receiving any flow of funds and was solely focused on fulfilling the
SPPG point targets.

Sony Sonjaya, a retired National Police officer, was examined in his
capacity as a suspect in the alleged corruption case concerning the
management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme for the 2025-2026
fiscal year. To date, the Attorney General’s Office has named five
suspects in the case.

Following the intensive examination, Sony Sonjaya remained silent and
did not provide any statements to the media as he left the Adhyaksa
Corps building.
",
