Jakarta, VIVA \u2013 The head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN),\nSudaryono, has affirmed that the implementation of the Free Nutritious\nMeal (MBG) Programme must proceed openly, transparently and in\naccordance with proper procedures.<\/p>\n
Although he has family, close friends, colleagues and an alumni\nnetwork, he stressed that personal closeness to him must not be used to\nobtain projects, employment or any form of convenience in the execution\nof the MBG Programme.<\/p>\n
He also assured that he would give no special priority to family,\nfriends, colleagues or associates in matters of work within the BGN.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf, for instance, someone offers services, perhaps in exchange for\npayment, claiming to be my person, my family, my friend, my associate,\nmy fellow alumnus and so on, in a manner that seems improper, I can\nassure you that it is not true,\u201d Sudaryono said in a statement on\nWednesday, 22 July 2026.<\/p>\n
Sudaryono called on the public to report anyone misusing his name to\nthe law enforcement authorities. According to him, this firmness is\nnecessary to protect the MBG Programme from broker practices, abuse of\ninfluence and various forms of deviation.<\/p>\n
He also offered an apology to family, friends, colleagues and\nacquaintances, as he would not provide special treatment when\ndiscussions concern work within the BGN.<\/p>\n
In his view, personal closeness cannot serve as the basis for\nobtaining projects, expediting follow-ups or securing particular\nadvantages, because all matters and proposals must be processed through\nthe applicable rules.<\/p>\n
\u201cI will not give special attention or any kind of priority if the\ndiscussion concerns work,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Sudaryono stressed that every matter relating to the BGN and the MBG\nProgramme must be discussed officially, openly, and in a manner that can\nbe monitored by the public and professionals, with the entire process\ncarried out in accordance with prevailing procedures.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo we are no longer relying on trust in a person and talking in\ndimly lit rooms, dark private rooms, in restaurants. Everything must be\ndiscussed in bright, transparent rooms, visible to others. I think that\nis important for me to convey,\u201d Sudaryono said.<\/p>\n
