        "content": "<p>Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Sudaryono and his staff\nvisited the Attorney General\u2019s Office (Kejagung) today. Sudaryono\ndirectly requested Attorney General ST Burhanuddin to involve High\nProsecutors\u2019 Offices (kejati) and District Prosecutors\u2019 Offices (kejari)\nin providing assistance and oversight for the implementation of the Free\nNutritious Meal (MBG) programme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe requested that going forward there will be assistance. Legal\nassistance, legal audits, including field supervision involving\ncolleagues at the district and high prosecutors\u2019 offices,\u201d said BGN\nDeputy for Monitoring and Supervision Ketut Sumedana to reporters at the\nKejagung building, Jakarta, Tuesday (11\/8\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Ketut stated that the new BGN leadership is making maximum efforts to\ncarry out improvements and evaluations. He expressed hope that the\ngovernance of the MBG programme would be better than before and that its\nbenefits would be increasingly felt by the public.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll governance will be built properly. The new leadership\u2019s\ncommitment is to build good governance, good service, like that,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Attorney General Hopes MBG Corruption Will Not Recur<\/p>\n<p>Attorney General ST Burhanuddin received a courtesy call from BGN\nHead Sudaryono and his staff today. During the meeting, the Attorney\nGeneral conveyed that the corruption which occurred in the management of\nthe free nutritious meal programme should serve as evaluation material\nfor the current BGN leadership.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe leadership clearly conveyed that what has happened should be\nused as evaluation material going forward,\u201d said Head of the Attorney\nGeneral\u2019s Office Legal Information Centre Anang Supriatna to reporters\nwhile relaying the Attorney General\u2019s statement during the meeting with\nBGN leadership on Tuesday (11\/8).<\/p>\n<p>The Attorney General also expressed his hope that corruption in the\nmanagement of the MBG programme would not be repeated. Anang said the\nAttorney General is ready to assist if BGN requires support from the\nProsecutor\u2019s Office in implementing the MBG programme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo not let it happen again, especially in terms of governance. And\nthe Prosecutor\u2019s Office is ready to assist in providing guidance going\nforward,\u201d he stated.<\/p>",
