However, she noted that\ninflation during the Kurban holiday remains lower than that during Eid\nal-Fitr.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInflation during Iduladha has generally been lower than during\nRamadan and Eid al-Fitr from 2022 to 2025,\u201d she stated during the 2026\nRegional Inflation Control Coordination Meeting, broadcast on the\nMinistry of Home Affairs\u2019 YouTube channel on Monday, 25 May 2026.\n\u201cExcept in 2022, when Iduladha inflation was higher than Eid al-Fitr,\u201d\nshe added.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding inflation contributors, food, beverage, and tobacco\ncommodities have been the top contributors since 2022-2025, except in\n2024. Volatile food prices have been the main drivers of inflation\nduring Iduladha in 2022 and 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCommodities under volatile food prices are the primary contributors\nto Iduladha inflation,\u201d Pudji explained. \u201cAmong them, red chilli and\nbird\u2019s eye chilli frequently drive inflation during the holiday,\u201d she\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Religious Affairs has set 27 May 2026 as the date for\nIduladha. According to the Ministry of Trade\u2019s SP2KP (Commodity Price\nMonitoring System), red curly chilli prices rose 0.68% to Rp46,942 per\nkg on Friday, 22 May 2026, from Rp46,624 the previous day. Bird\u2019s eye\nred chilli prices increased 1.28% to Rp67,518 per kg from Rp66,663.<\/p>",
