Beware of 'baby-sitters'<\/p>\n

About two months ago, after reading an advertisement in a
\nJakarta-based paper about well-trained baby-sitters placed by ASI
\nFoundation in Utan Kayu, East Jakarta, I decided to contact the
\nagency and hire one for my child.<\/p>\n
I was disappointed because the baby-sitter could not do
\nanything that a baby-sitter should be able to do. She was nothing
\nmore than a housemaid in a baby-sitter's uniform. More often than
\nnot, rather than putting on her uniform, she dressed
\ninappropriately. She was very awkward, even when doing household
\nchores, and broke many things.<\/p>\n
When she spoke to me or my husband, she had no manners at all.
\nWorse, she either spent hours watching television or gossiping
\nwith neighborhood housemaids.<\/p>\n
