Taking over another party\u2019s ongoing negotiation is\nconsidered damaging to social relations and unjust.<\/p>\n<p>For example, a person negotiating a house purchase should be given a\nclear timeframe to finalise the deal. Others aware of ongoing\nnegotiations are advised not to intervene until it is confirmed whether\nthe transaction proceeds or is cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>In modern trade practices, sellers are encouraged to set clear\ndeadlines for potential buyers. If no confirmation is received by the\ndeadline, the seller may then offer the item to others.<\/p>",
