        "content": "<p>Better late than never: Exhibit<\/p>\n<p>Talented young artist Eko Nugroho will display his distinctive<br>\ncreations at a solo exhibition titled \"Sorry I am Too Late to<br>\nCelebrate\" from Aug. 20 through Sept. 15 at the Arnivora Gallery<br>\nin Kemang, South Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Eko is known for his comical and satirical works in the forms<br>\nof comics, caricatures, paintings, murals, installations and<br>\nvideos.<\/p>\n<p>Most of his works, he has often said, are inspired from<br>\neveryday objects, be it street graffiti or daily comics.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Yogyakarta in 1977, Eko has exhibited prolifically in<br>\nJakarta and Yogyakarta, and overseas in Fukuoka, Japan.<\/p>\n<p>Through his current work, he has sought to redefine freedom<br>\nand independence in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of<br>\nIndonesian independence.<\/p>\n<p>Artnivora Gallery, Jl.
