        "content": "<p>Bengkulu Governor Helmi Hasan has stated that central government\nsupport for the province, channelled through various ministerial and\ninstitutional programmes from the state budget (APBN), has surpassed IDR\n2 trillion. \u201cMore than IDR 2 trillion in state budget funds have entered\nhere, from ministries and institutions. Whereas we only made efficiency\nsavings of around IDR 300 billion, almost IDR 400 billion, but it was\nreturned in the form of programmes worth more than IDR 2 trillion,\u201d\nHelmi said in Bengkulu on Friday. He made the statement in response to\nPresident Prabowo Subianto\u2019s address at the 2024 Annual Session of the\nPeople\u2019s Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the Joint Session of the House\nof Representatives (DPR) and the Regional Representatives Council (DPD).\nAccording to him, the central government\u2019s support is realised through\nvarious programmes in sectors such as education, agriculture, and\ninfrastructure. In the education sector, Bengkulu received two Sekolah\nRakyat (People\u2019s Schools) programmes, one in Bengkulu City and one in\nKaur Regency, as well as a Sekolah Garuda programme. Helmi said the\ntotal central government support for the two Sekolah Rakyat and the\nSekolah Garuda reached almost IDR 1 trillion. In the agricultural\nsector, the central government is also providing support through a rice\nfield printing programme to add new agricultural areas. \u201cThen there is\nalso the agricultural programme. We also received new paddy field\nprinting where there were none before,\u201d he said. Helmi added that\ncentral government support also covers the construction of bridges and\nvarious other infrastructure projects. \u201cGod willing, the central\ngovernment will continue to assist and support programmes in Bengkulu\nProvince. And we continue to strive to maintain good communication\nbetween ministries and institutions,\u201d he stated. He noted that synergy\nbetween the central and regional governments is necessary so that\nnational programmes can be implemented according to the needs of the\npeople of Bengkulu. In his speech, President Prabowo outlined eight\nNational Priority Work Programmes in the 2027 Draft State Budget,\ncovering food sovereignty; energy and water self-sufficiency; education;\nhealth; downstreaming and industrialisation; infrastructure, housing and\ndisaster resilience; strengthening the people\u2019s economy and village\ndevelopment; and poverty reduction. The Bengkulu Provincial Government\nstated it will align regional development programmes with central\ngovernment policy directions.<\/p>",
