        "content": "<p>Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has confirmed that Bendera Heritage\nPark in South Jakarta will be open to the public 24 hours a day.\nHowever, he cautioned that the park is not intended as a place for\nsleeping or overnight stays.<\/p>\n<p>Pramono made these remarks following the official inauguration of\nBendera Heritage Park, which represents an integration of three parks in\nSouth Jakarta, on Saturday 14 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Pramono stated that the park would remain open throughout the day so\nresidents could utilise it for various activities such as sports and\nrecreation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis park is for communal use, not a place for sleeping,\u201d Pramono\ntold journalists at the site.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that park management will deploy security personnel in\nthe area. If visitors are found sleeping in the park, staff will issue\nreminders.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf residents are found sleeping or loitering, there will certainly\nbe security personnel who will remind them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Bendera Heritage Park covers approximately 5.6 hectares and features\na 1.2-kilometre jogging track, a multi-purpose sports field, and padel\ncourts.<\/p>\n<p>This green public space is the result of integrating three previously\nexisting parks: Ayodya Park, Leuser Park, and Langsat Park.<\/p>\n<p>The Jakarta regional administration hopes the park will serve as a\nnew public space for residents to engage in activities whilst also\nincreasing green space in Jakarta.<\/p>",
