The Bekasi Regency Fire and Rescue Service in West Java deployed nine\nunits from several sectors to extinguish a fire that engulfed 50 buses\nat the Sirnajaya bus depot on Jalan Jarakosta, Sukadanau Village, West\nCikarang.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe fire originated from the bus depot. A total of 50 buses that\nwere no longer in operation were reported to have been destroyed in the\nincident,\u201d said Head of the Bekasi Regency Fire and Rescue Service Adeng\nHudaya in Cikarang on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
He explained that the fire incident report was received by officers\non Tuesday (18\/8) at 01.45 WIB and was immediately followed up by\ndispatching fire crews to the scene. Officers arrived at the location at\n02.00 WIB and promptly began extinguishing the flames.<\/p>\n
Officers continued the response with a cooling process to ensure the\nfire did not reignite. To date, there has been no official report\nregarding the value of material losses suffered as a result of the\nincident.<\/p>\n
The exact cause of the fire is also still under investigation. Police\nofficers are conducting further examinations to determine the initial\nsource of the flames.<\/p>\n
