        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) recorded 845\nsanctions imposed on 494 listed companies during the period from 1\nJanuary to 31 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBEI continues to affirm its commitment to safeguarding the integrity\nand credibility of the Indonesian capital market through monitoring the\ncompliance of listed companies with their obligations as issuers,\u201d\nstated BEI\u2019s Corporate Secretary, Aulia Noviana Utami Putri, on Thursday\n(23\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>The breakdown of sanctions includes 188 requests for clarification to\n105 issuers. A total of 130 sanctions related to annual listing fee\nobligations were given to 82 issuers.<\/p>\n<p>BEI also imposed 128 sanctions for monthly securities registration\nreports to 62 issuers. As many as 98 sanctions related to public\nexposures were given to 70 issuers.<\/p>\n<p>Aulia explained that the largest increase occurred in the\nmiscellaneous category. This category includes obligations to meet free\nfloat requirements, reports on readiness of funds for maturing bonds or\nsukuk, and reports on mining companies\u2019 exploration activities.<\/p>\n<p>Errors in presenting information in financial reports and disclosures\nalso increased. The rise reached 50 percent in terms of the number of\nsanctions and the number of issuers.<\/p>\n<p>Increases also occurred in public exposure obligations and financial\nreports. Each rose by 14 percent and 5 percent in terms of the number of\nsanctions.<\/p>\n<p>Declines were seen in sanctions for monthly securities registration\nreports and requests for clarification. The decreases were 10 percent\nand 9 percent, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>BEI stated that sanction data is published periodically every month\nthrough its official website. This information is intended to increase\ntransparency and serve as a reference for investors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis publication is expected to provide transparency for investors\nwhile serving as a reference in investment decision-making, as well as\nencouraging improvements in the quality of listed companies through\nactive investor roles,\u201d said Aulia.<\/p>",
