Beautician's lawyers want quick trial<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: Defense lawyers for HJT, a beauty parlor owner who
\nallegedly caused the death of a customer by injecting her with
\ntoo much collagen, decided on Wednesday not to deliver a response
\nto the prosecution indictment in the case.<\/p>\n
\"We have no complaints about the indictment. Moreover, we want
\na quick trial,\" said Donald Pangaribuan at the West Jakarta
\nDistrict Court.<\/p>\n
Prosecutor Resni Muchtar charged the suspect under the Public
\nHealth Law and the Criminal Code.<\/p>\n
If found guilty, the suspect could face a maximum sentence of
\nfive years in prison.<\/p>\n
On July 20, Hilda Pasman who was on vacation from her school
\nin the Netherlands, came to the beauty parlor for collagen
\ninjections to enlarge her breasts. She died several hours later.<\/p>\n
Presiding judge Pasaribu adjourned the trial until Tuesday. --
