Surjo Sumirat from <br>\nTangerang (published in Kompas, July 18), in which he complained <br>\nabout his motor vehicle being regarded as \"stolen goods\" when he <br>\nprocessed the police license document (STNK), we provide the <br>\nfollowing clarification:<\/p>\n<p>After studying the STNK extension and checking the process <br>\nthoroughly, it was discovered that the extension was handled by a <br>\nbroker.<\/p>\n<p>There was already a mutual agreement in place that for the <br>\ncorrection of a previous technical error made by the police, <br>\nregional revenue office and Jasa Raharja insurance, full <br>\nassistance would be given free of charge, according to normal <br>\nprocedures.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, taxpayers processing STNKs for their motor vehicles <br>\nshould not use the service of brokers in order to avoid a <br>\nrecurrence of this kind of incident.<\/p>\n<p>ADJ.
