        "content": "<p>PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is once again supporting the Earth\nHour 2026 programme as part of a global campaign on climate change. Amid\ngeopolitical conditions that also affect the energy sector, this moment\nis being utilised by BCA to continue promoting energy efficiency in the\ncompany\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n<p>On the Earth Hour 2026 commemoration, BCA will turn off lights and\nnon-essential electronic equipment on Saturday (28 March) at its\noperational buildings and BCA branches across various regions in\nIndonesia, from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm local time. Although the shutdown\nwill occur during Earth Hour, BCA ensures that banking services and the\nATM network continue to operate normally to meet customer transaction\nneeds.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2019, BCA has consistently participated in the Earth Hour\ncommemoration and recorded electricity savings from the participation of\nits operational buildings during the campaign. In the 2025 Earth Hour\ncommemoration, 962 BCA office units participated in turning off the\nelectricity for one hour.<\/p>\n<p>BCA\u2019s contribution to supporting the Earth Hour commemoration is part\nof efforts to improve electricity usage efficiency throughout the year.\nThis is reflected in the electricity energy usage intensity at BCA,\nwhich has consistently decreased to 131 kWh\/m\u00b2 in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>EVP Corporate Communication &amp; Social Responsibility at BCA, Hera\nF Haryn, revealed that BCA\u2019s involvement in Earth Hour is part of the\ncompany\u2019s consistency in implementing Environmental, Social, and\nGovernance (ESG) values.
