        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Director of BCA Finance Petrus Karim\nsaid the company is still studying the National Electric Motorcycle\n(Molinas) programme and has not yet determined what form of contribution\nit will take to support the initiative.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe cannot comment yet because this is new, so we are still studying\nit,\u201d Petrus said when confirmed during a press conference for BCA Expo\n2026 in Jakarta on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, he assured that BCA Finance, a multifinance subsidiary\nof PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) or BCA, will support government\nprogrammes, including Molinas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBCA, as a fairly large bank, will certainly support government\nprogrammes. We will definitely support them. Later we will see the\nresults of studying it, and we can position ourselves, what kind of\nprogramme, and so on,\u201d Petrus explained.<\/p>\n<p>President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated the domestically produced\nNational Electric Motorcycle (Molinas) and its supporting ecosystem at\nthe production facility of PT Ilectra Motor Group (ALVA) in Cikarang,\nBekasi Regency, West Java, on Thursday (13\/8).<\/p>\n<p>The programme is one of the government\u2019s steps to strengthen the\ndevelopment of the national electric motorcycle industry and encourage\nthe formation of an integrated electric vehicle ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Danantara CEO Rosan Perkasa said all banks and financial\ninstitutions under Danantara (Himbara\/Association of State-Owned Banks)\nare ready to support Molinas by providing funding at lower interest\nrates.<\/p>\n<p>Rosan also said Danantara plans to reduce or even eliminate the 10\npercent down payment (DP).<\/p>\n<p>The move aims to increase public interest in buying electric\nmotorcycles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo that we have the ability to accelerate the production of national\nelectric motorcycles in Indonesia,\u201d Rosan said.<\/p>\n<p>Rosan, who is also Minister of Investment and Downstreaming\/Head of\nthe Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), assessed that the potential\nmarket for electric motorcycles in Indonesia reaches 170 billion US\ndollars, or around Rp3,036 trillion (at an exchange rate of\nRp17,858.70).<\/p>",
