        "content": "<p>PT Bank Central Asia Tbk has resumed its share buyback on 19\u201321\nOctober 2026. The corporate action follows a similar programme carried\nout in April and June 2026.<\/p>\n<p>In an official statement on Monday (19 October 2026), Bank Central\nAsia said the buyback had been approved at the Annual General Meeting of\nShareholders for the 2025 financial year on 12 March 2026. The decision\nwas made to support the stability of the domestic financial market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe buyback reflects our confidence in the company\u2019s business\nfundamentals while also supporting the stability of Indonesia\u2019s capital\nmarket,\u201d Bank Central Asia management said in its statement.<\/p>\n<p>Under the annual meeting\u2019s resolution, the buyback programme runs for\n12 months, from 12 March 2026 to 11 March 2027. The company may end the\nprogramme earlier, subject to applicable laws and regulations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe buyback will not have a material impact on the company\u2019s\nfinancial performance or business activities. The company will also take\nmarket conditions into account in carrying out the programme,\u201d Bank\nCentral Asia management said.<\/p>",
