        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Several national banks are adjusting their\noperational schedules during the Ascension Day holiday on 14-15 May\n2026, including PT Bank Central Asia Tbk or BCA and PT Bank Negara\nIndonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI.<\/p>\n<p>According to a BCA press release, BCA will close all its branches on\n14-15 May 2026, following the government\u2019s designated holiday and\ncollective leave schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Then, on 16-17 May, BCA will operate on a limited basis, providing\nweekend banking services only from 10.00 to 15.00 local time.<\/p>\n<p>The list of BCA branches offering weekend banking can be viewed on\nthe following page:\nhttps:\/\/pustaka.bca.co.id\/News\/news-and-features\/2026\/rekapitulasi-pembukaan-kembali-layanan-weekend-banking-w1-3-4.pdf?v=1.3<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, customers wishing to make deposits or withdrawals\nduring this period can utilise the cardless feature on myBCA and BCA\nmobile, allowing ATM transactions without a card.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are continually striving to ensure that customers have access and\nease in conducting transactions throughout this holiday and collective\nleave period, through various hybrid banking service channels from BCA,\u201d\nthe statement said in a written release on Wednesday (13\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, according to BNI\u2019s official website, BNI will implement\nlimited operations at several branches during the 2026 Ascension Day\nholiday.<\/p>\n<p>BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said the measure is intended\nto maintain smooth public transactions during the long holiday period in\nmid-May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>On 15 May 2026, BNI will operate 16 branches on a limited basis from\n10.00 to 12.00 local time.<\/p>\n<p>The operating branches will handle Pertamina fuel deposits, Bulog\ndeposits, cash deposits, cash withdrawals, and transfers between BNI\naccounts with a maximum limit of Rp25 million per account per day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe ensure that customer transaction needs are still met during the\nlong holiday period through limited operational services at certain\noutlets,\u201d Okki said in a written statement on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, BNI will continue to serve customers through digital\nchannels during the holiday period.<\/p>\n<p>Customers can access various transaction services via the wondr by\nBNI app, BNIdirect, ATMs, and other electronic banking services.<\/p>\n<p>Digital services will remain operational so that customers can still\nperform banking transactions during the national holiday.<\/p>\n<p>Especially during long holidays like this, public mobility actually\nincreases.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe ongoing digital transformation we are implementing is expected\nto provide comfort and ease for customers in transacting anytime and\nanywhere, including during long holiday periods,\u201d he added.<\/p>",
