PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) has completed the\nexecution of its 2026 share buyback, with total funds utilised reaching\nRp90.37 billion.<\/p>\n
According to information disclosure submitted to the Financial\nServices Authority (OJK), BBRI repurchased 31 million shares with a\ntransaction value of Rp90,373,316,000. This figure does not include\nsecurities brokerage fees and other related costs.<\/p>\n
The buyback was carried out between 12 June and 11 September 2026, in\naccordance with the programme previously announced by the company.<\/p>\n
Under the 2026 buyback plan, BBRI had allocated a maximum of Rp500\nbillion. Consequently, the realised expenditure represents approximately\n18.07% of the maximum budget prepared.<\/p>\n
The company stated that the repurchased shares will be used for share\nownership programmes for employees and\/or members of the Board of\nDirectors and the Board of Commissioners.<\/p>\n
However, the transfer of these shares will only take place after\nobtaining approval from the General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS), in\naccordance with applicable regulations.<\/p>\n
