        "content": "<p>BB\/B for Bank Umum<\/p>\n<p>SYDNEY (Reuter): Standard and Poor's Corp said it has assigned<br>\na BB long term rating and a B short term rating to Indonesia's PT<br>\nBank Umum Nasional (BUN).<\/p>\n<p>S&amp;P said the ratings outlook was stable. \"The ratings reflect<br>\nBUN's strong business franchise, long-established customer<br>\nrelationships, professional management and initiatives to<br>\nredesign the bank's distribution network,\" S&amp;P said.<\/p>\n<p>\"However the ratings are also affected by risk factors<br>\nassociated with the developing status of the Indonesian economy<br>\nand banking industry, the bank's low capitalization and the level<br>\nof non-performing loans, which while moderate by Indonesian<br>\nstandards, is relatively high on an international basis,\" S&amp;P<br>\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>S&amp;P said the rating for BUN was its first public rating for an<br>\nIndonesian bank and follows corporate ratings for seven<br>\nIndonesian companies.<\/p>",
