        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Zakat Board (Baznas) of Indonesia and\nthe United Foundation for Global Development (UFGD) are exploring\nstrategic cooperation to strengthen humanitarian programmes for\nPalestine and social infrastructure development in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>This synergy is being mediated by the Embassy of Palestine to\nIndonesia through an official audience, aiming to optimise the\ndistribution of humanitarian aid for the Palestinian people, while\nsimultaneously providing social infrastructure assistance for\ncommunities in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The Vice Chairman of Baznas RI, Zainut Tauhid Sa\u2019adi, in a statement\nin Jakarta on Friday, welcomed the role of the Palestinian Embassy in\nbridging this collaboration, noting that Baznas is fully committed to\ncarrying out global humanitarian missions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur humanitarian programmes for Palestine are already well underway,\nranging from meeting food and nutritional needs, providing temporary\nhousing, and healthcare services, to educational scholarships for\nPalestinian students,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Zainut added that the mediation support from the Palestinian Embassy\nopens up wider opportunities for cooperation with UFGD.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe express our gratitude to the Palestinian Ambassador for\nfacilitating this meeting. Baznas is ready with open arms to synergise\nwith UFSD to carry out humanitarian duties,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Through this mediated cooperation, UFGD plans to provide assistance\nfor the construction of mosques featuring the distinctive architecture\nof Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as the creation of clean water wells in\nseveral regions in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Ambassador of Palestine to Indonesia, Abdalfatah A.K.\nAl-Sattari, expressed his readiness to continue bridging various parties\nwishing to contribute to humanitarian action and development.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHopefully, the collaboration between Baznas and UFGD that we have\ninitiated together can provide great benefits, both for helping the\nPalestinian people and the Indonesian community. Free Palestine,\u201d said\nAbdalfatah.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives from the United Foundation for Global Development\n(UFGD) expressed their readiness to collaborate with Baznas on several\nsocial programmes, including the construction of mosques and boreholes\nto provide clean water sources.<\/p>\n<p>For Indonesia, UFGD stated its readiness to cooperate in building\nboreholes; in discussions with Baznas RI, one of the regions identified\nas needing such support is East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), which is currently\naffected by earthquakes.<\/p>",
