        "content": "<p>The National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) of Indonesia has handed over\neducational scholarship assistance to a number of students while\nreaffirming its commitment to continuously support and build synergy\nwith various Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) across\nIndonesia. The commitment was conveyed by Deputy Chairman of Baznas RI,\nZainut Tauhid Sa\u2019adi, while attending the IVth Pondok Pesantren Equality\nEducation Graduation (PKPPS) and Akhirussanah of PKPPS Hamalatul Quran\nin Jombang, East Java. \u201cBaznas is fully committed to positioning pondok\npesantren as strategic partners by channelling aid and programmes that\nhave a direct impact on improving the quality and facilities of\nreligious education,\u201d Zainut explained, according to an official\nstatement on Wednesday (8\/7). On that occasion, Baznas also symbolically\nhanded over educational scholarship assistance to 15 selected graduates\nas a tangible form of concern for the future sustainability of the\nstudents. According to Zainut Tauhid, through this educational\nassistance programme, Baznas is committed to encouraging graduates to\npursue higher education in order to have a positive impact on society.\n\u201cWith this long-term mentoring, we are targeting the pesantren equality\nsystem to become more advanced and function as a strategic pillar for\nforging a competent generation of successors who firmly uphold Islamic\nvalues,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
