This was conveyed by Baznas Chairman Sodik\nMudjahid during a meeting with Indonesian National Team Coach Indra\nSjafri at the Baznas headquarters in Jakarta, where they discussed\nstrengthening zakat literacy and the role of the younger generation in\nshaping the nation\u2019s future, including through sports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBaznas has programmes to raise funds and then distribute them to all\ngroups, including football athletes. Likewise, fundraising targets all\nlayers of society, including football figures,\u201d said Sodik Mudjahid. He\nadded that the presence of a national figure like Coach Indra Sjafri is\ncrucial for discussing the future of the nation, the younger generation,\nfootball, character building, and sharing with the nation through\nBaznas.<\/p>\n<p>According to Sodik, collaboration with sports figures is a vital part\nof expanding zakat education to the public, especially the youth who\nrepresent the nation\u2019s future hope.<\/p>\n<p>Indra Sjafri, the Indonesian National Team Coach, stressed the\nimportance of Muslim awareness in fulfilling zakat according to\nreligious provisions. By Allah\u2019s will, what I\nhave experienced is that zakat actually increases one\u2019s sustenance.
