Bayer gets ISO award<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Publicly listed pharmaceutical giant PT Bayer
\nIndonesia has received quality management standard International
\nStandards Organization (ISO) 9002:1994 certification from the
\ninternational monitoring body TV Rheiland.<\/p>\n
The company said that the certification was awarded on Tuesday
\nfor its quality management system of its consumer care and crop
\nprotection, and for its factory in Pulogadung, East Jakarta.<\/p>\n
The certificate is valid for three years, during which time
\nTV Rheiland will perform annual audits by surveillance. At the
\nend of the period, a new and comprehensive audit will be required
\nin order to renew the certification.<\/p>\n
The company said that the ISO 9002 award would complement the
\nPharmaceutical Inspection Convention certification which enables
\nthe company to export its pharmaceutical and over-the-counter
\nproducts to Europe, Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n
Bayer Indonesia is primarily owned by Germany's Bayer AG. It
\nhas two production facilities in Greater Jakarta for
\npharmaceutical and over-the-counter goods, and for consumer care
