        "content": "<p>The Batang Regency Government, Central Java, has recorded economic\ngrowth realisation of up to 8.38 per cent in the second quarter of 2026,\nexceeding the regional development target set within the 6.35 per cent\nto 6.50 per cent range.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Regional Planning, Research, and Development Agency\nof Batang Regency, Bagus Pambudi, stated in Batang on Thursday that this\nregional economic surge was supported by four priority sectors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis economic growth achievement places this region in the top three\nhighest positions in Indonesia, directly below Ngawi Regency (East Java)\nand Kendal Regency (Central Java),\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the main contributors to economic growth until\nmid-2026 were driven by the manufacturing industry, agriculture, trade,\nand the construction sector.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that out of a total of 185 measured performance indicators,\n74 per cent (136 indicators) achieved a \u2018Very High\u2019 rating.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, out of 44 Regional Government Organisations (OPD)\nevaluated, 25 OPDs earned a \u2018Very High Performance\u2019 rating, 16 recorded\n\u2018High Performance\u2019, while the remaining three OPDs, along with several\nsub-districts, still recorded 38 indicators performing at \u2018Low\u2019 to \u2018Very\nLow\u2019 levels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTherefore, there are still 38 indicators that require collective\nhard work so that the 2026 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) targets\ncan be optimally completed by the end of this year,\u201d he added.<\/p>",
