Chief Executive Officer of PT\nBandara Internasional Batam, Annang Setia Budhi, said they are\ncontinuously monitoring developments in the Middle East, which is\ncurrently attracting global attention. \u201cWe are continuing to monitor\nintensively the developments in the Middle East and are actively\ncoordinating with the airlines and related entities,\u201d he said in an\nofficial statement received in Batam on Friday, 6 March 2026. The\nflights have a frequency of twice per week, with arrivals on Wednesdays\nand departures on Saturdays. In addition to the Jeddah route, several\nother international flights from Hang Nadim Airport remain in operation,\nincluding services to Incheon, South Korea, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.\nHe added that to date there have been no cancellations or significant\nchanges to flight schedules due to the developing situation in the\nMiddle East. According to Annang, the airport prioritises safety,\nsecurity, and the comfort of all airport users, especially pilgrims who\nwill or are undertaking the umrah pilgrimage.
