"content": "<p>The development of the aesthetic industry in Indonesia is no longer\nconcentrated solely in Jakarta. Increasing public interest in\nnon-surgical treatments and modern beauty technology has encouraged\nvarious global innovations to expand into cities outside the capital,\nincluding Batam. This trend was marked by the launch of XERF by Cynosure\nLutronic at Embba Beauty Clinic, Batam, on Thursday (11\/6). The\nintroduction of this latest generation skin tightening technology makes\nEmbba Beauty Clinic the first clinic in Sumatra to adopt XERF,\nsignalling the expansion of global aesthetic technology into the Sumatra\nregion amid growing public demand for effective, technology-based beauty\nservices with minimal recovery time. Prior to its arrival in Indonesia,\nXERF was introduced globally with the support of South Korean actress\nPark Shin Hye as its international brand ambassador. In Indonesia, the\ntechnology was introduced alongside Mikha Tambayong to broaden education\nregarding non-surgical skin tightening treatments. Vice President of\nidsMED Aesthetics Indonesia, Andy Rahardja, stated that the growth of\nthe aesthetic industry in the Sumatra region shows increasing potential,\nparticularly in the non-invasive treatment segment. He noted that Batam\nholds a strategic position as it not only serves the domestic market but\nalso has the potential to attract patients from neighbouring countries,\nespecially Singapore. XERF was developed by South Korean aesthetic\ntechnology company Cynosure Lutronic. The technology has received\nclearance from United States health authorities (FDA) and is designed as\na non-surgical skin tightening solution that prioritises patient\ncomfort. It uses a multi-frequency monopolar radio frequency (RF) system\ncombining 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz frequencies, allowing energy to be\ndelivered more precisely to target areas to help improve skin firmness.\nHead of Aesthetics at idsMED Indonesia, Marisa Theresia, observed that\nshifting consumer preferences are a key factor driving the adoption of\nthe latest aesthetic technologies. Director of Embba Beauty Clinic,\nBina, said the clinic has observed a steadily increasing public need for\neffective, comfortable, and minimally invasive aesthetic treatments in\nrecent years. She added that Batam\u2019s strategic position as a regional\nhub allows the clinic to serve not only patients from Batam and Sumatra\nbut also those from Singapore seeking cutting-edge aesthetic solutions.\nThe arrival of XERF in Batam reflects a changing landscape in the\nnational aesthetic industry, where the latest beauty innovations are no\nlonger confined to Jakarta but are expanding to other cities in response\nto growing public demand and regional market potential.<\/p>",
