        "content": "<p>Basuki survives nightmare to upset Dutch seed<\/p>\n<p>PARIS (AFP): Yayuk Basuki of Indonesia upset big-serving<br>\nseventh seed Brenda Schultz-McCarthy at the 480,000-dollar WTA<br>\nParis Open yesterday in a gruelling three-set marathon and then<br>\nadmitted that playing the 6ft 2in (1m 88) Dutch player was &quot;a<br>\nnightmare&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>The 26-year-old Basuki, who stands 5ft 4in (1m 64), had to<br>\nstand up to a barrage of aces from the powerful Schultz-McCarthy<br>\nin the two-hour marathon and recover from a sticky patch in the<br>\nsecond set before scoring a 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 victory.<\/p>\n<p>Schultz-McCarthy, who beat the Indonesian player in straight<br>\nsets in their only other meeting at Wimbledon in 1995, did what<br>\nshe could to help by hitting a series of double-faults on<br>\nimportant points.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;It&apos;s almost a nightmare for me to play her.
