In<br>\nthe words of (Harvard economist Martin) Feldstein, the IMF is<br>\nlending Indonesia money on the collateral of strict adherence to<br>\na highly detailed program, ranging from determining oil fuel<br>\nprices to marketing plywood.<\/p>\n<p>Under current conditions it will not be easy for Indonesia to<br>\nextricate itself from these IMF pressures.
