        "content": "<p>The Narcotics Crime Directorate (Dittipidnarkoba) of Bareskrim Police\nhas revealed that a Whip Pink nitrous oxide gas user, identified as AM,\nsuffered temporary paralysis. AM stated that the use of the product is\nstrongly suspected to have affected his health, necessitating intensive\ntreatment at a hospital in Tangerang. He experienced temporary paralysis\nleading to a fall down his staircase.<\/p>\n<p>This aligns with the Ministry of Health\u2019s expert opinion that direct\nuse of nitrous oxide without strict medical supervision can cause\nperipheral neuropathy, a condition involving damage to peripheral nerves\noutside the brain, presenting symptoms such as numbness, tingling, and\nloss of coordination. AM is still undergoing treatment for health\neffects strongly suspected to stem from using Whip Pink nitrous oxide\ngas.<\/p>\n<p>The directorate noted that AM first encountered Whip Pink at a North\nJakarta club where it was sold in balloons. He had been ordering the\nproduct since January to March 2026 for personal use. Investigators have\nalso interviewed another witness, CD, who ordered Whip Pink in 640g and\n950g sizes more than five times between mid-2025 and early 2026. CD\nordered the product via Google search for \u2018WHIP CREAM\u2019, was directed to\na WhatsApp administrator, completed an order form, paid via mobile\nbanking, and received delivery within an hour. The method of use\ninvolves inhaling through a funnel inserted into the mouth, with CD\nobserving users bending over and closing their eyes after\nconsumption.<\/p>\n<p>The individuals involved include RV (29, North Jakarta), AM (29,\nTangerang), CD (29, Jakarta), APG (21, Makassar), and ZNM (20,\nMakassar), with investigations focusing on their alleged use of Whip\nPink.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2026, Bareskrim\u2019s Narcotics Crime Directorate dismantled a\nJakarta-based factory producing Whip Pink nitrous oxide gas.\nInterrogation of nine detained witnesses revealed that PT SSS, the\nmanufacturer, lacks legal certification and BPOM distribution permits.\nThe production site and shipping warehouses are owned by AH, SC, and JH,\nwith 16 storage points across 10 cities from Jakarta to Yogyakarta and\nLombok.<\/p>",
