        "content": "<p>Jakarta, KOMPAS.com - The Narcotics Crime Directorate of Bareskrim\nPolice has exposed how consumers purchase \u201cWhip Pink\u201d nitrous oxide\n(N2O) products online via Google, Instagram, and WhatsApp. The findings\nwere made after investigators examined several consumers in the\nhealth-related case involving the \u201cWhip Pink\u201d N2O product. Deputy\nDirector of Sub-Directorate III of Bareskrim\u2019s Narcotics Crime\nDirectorate, Commissioner of Police Zulkarnain Harahap, stated that a\nwitness with the initials CD admitted purchasing the product by\nsearching \u201cwhip cream\u201d on Google. \u201cAccording to CD\u2019s statement, he\nordered the product more than five times (640g and 950g sizes) between\nmid-2025 and early 2026, searching for \u2018Whip Cream\u2019 on Google which\ndirected him to the WhatsApp admin,\u201d Zulkarnain said in his statement on\nFriday (29 May 2026). The product was then delivered by courier,\nreportedly arriving within an hour of the order being placed. Zulkarnain\nadded that CD admitted purchasing the \u201cWhip Pink\u201d product over five\ntimes in 640g and 950g sizes between mid-2025 and early 2026. \u201cThe\nmethod of use is inhaling through a funnel inserted into the mouth. CD\nreported experiencing a head-down posture and closing his eyes after\ninhaling the product,\u201d he said. According to AM, the nitrous oxide gas\nwas sold via balloons before he ordered directly through Instagram\nsocial media and was directed to the WhatsApp admin for \u201cWhip Pink\u201d. AM\nadmitted purchasing the product from January to March 2026 for personal\nuse. Investigators are also examining the health effects AM experienced\nafter using the product. According to AM, he temporarily lost control of\nhis limbs, particularly his legs, leading to temporary paralysis and a\nfall down the stairs before being rushed to a hospital in Tangerang.\n\u201cThis aligns with expert testimony from Indonesia\u2019s Ministry of Health\nregarding the effects of direct nitrous oxide use without strict medical\nsupervision,\u201d Zulkarnain said. In the ongoing investigation, Bareskrim\nhas summoned five consumers for questioning: RV (29), AM (29), CD (29),\nAPG (21), and ZNM (20). One of them is an Instagram influencer who went\nviral after posting a video of consuming \u201cWhip Pink\u201d via the <span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"makassar_iinpo\">@makassar_iinpo<\/span>\naccount. However, only CD and AM responded to the second summons from\ninvestigators. The three other witnesses who failed to appear will be\nforcibly brought in via a witness summons order.<\/p>",
