        "content": "<p>The Office of the Religious Affairs Ministry (Kemenag) in Banyumas\nRegency has taken a preventive step to protect the younger generation\nwithin the Islamic education environment. Through a strategic\ncollaboration with the Banyumas Regency AIDS Commission (KPA), Kemenag\norganised socialisation and education on the dangers of HIV\/AIDS for\nstudents and teaching staff at madrasahs. This measure was taken as an\neffort to strengthen the madrasah \u2018fortress\u2019 against the threats of\npromiscuity and the spread of sexually transmitted diseases, which are\nincreasingly alarming among teenagers. The education is expected to\nprovide a comprehensive understanding of transmission methods,\nprevention, and the elimination of stigma against People with HIV\/AIDS\n(ODHA). The Head of the Banyumas Kemenag Office emphasised that\nmadrasahs are not only places to gain religious and general knowledge\nbut must also be safe and healthy environments. According to him,\nunderstanding reproductive health and the dangers of HIV\/AIDS is crucial\nto provide from an early age so that students have the awareness to\nprotect themselves. \u201cWe want to ensure that madrasah students have\nimmunity, both in faith and medical knowledge, against the threat of\nHIV\/AIDS. This cooperation with the KPA is a tangible form of the\nstate\u2019s presence in protecting our children\u2019s future,\u201d he said. The\nBanyumas Regency KPA welcomed this initiative. During the education\nsession, a team of experts from the KPA presented the latest data on the\ndistribution of cases in the Banyumas area and the dominant risk\nfactors. The KPA stressed that education in schools and madrasahs is the\nmain key to breaking the chain of transmission. In addition to health\naspects, this collaboration also targets social aspects. Students are\ntaught not to shun or discriminate against HIV\/AIDS sufferers. The\nhumanitarian values and empathy taught in madrasahs are expected to\nbecome a foundation for students in addressing this social issue wisely.\nWith the synergy between Kemenag and the KPA, it is hoped that all\nmadrasahs in Banyumas Regency can become institutions free from drugs\nand HIV\/AIDS, while producing a generation that is intellectually smart\nand physically healthy.<\/p>",
