        "content": "<p>The Banten Provincial Government is accelerating the completion of\nadministrative requirements for the construction of a Communal Solar\nPower Plant (PLTS) on Tunda Island, Serang Regency, to ensure residents\ncan soon enjoy 24-hour electricity services.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Banten Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Office, Ari\nJames Faraddy, stated on Friday that residents of Tunda Island have been\nheavily dependent on Diesel Power Plants (PLTD). \u201cResidents can only\nenjoy electricity for 6 to 8 hours a day because they rely on PLTD,\nwhose fuel is difficult to obtain and expensive. Therefore, we continue\nto strive to bring PT PLN electricity to Tunda Island,\u201d Ari said.<\/p>\n<p>Efforts to provide adequate electricity services have actually been\npursued since 2024 through coordination with the Ministry of ESDM and PT\nPLN (Persero). The proposal was successfully included in PLN\u2019s General\nPlan for Electricity Supply (RUPTL) with a target execution in 2026.\nHowever, a fresh opportunity has arisen as the 150 kilowatt peak (kWp)\ncapacity project has the chance to be realised earlier through funding\nsupport from the Revised State Budget (APBN Perubahan) via the\nDirectorate General of Electricity at the Ministry of ESDM.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlhamdulillah, our efforts have been included in the Revised APBN.\nLater, there will be construction for village electricity (lisdes) and\nalso the PLTS,\u201d Ari explained. As a condition for budget disbursement,\nthe central government has given the regional government a four-month\ndeadline to complete land legality so that its status is truly clean and\nclear, preventing the budget from being diverted to other regions.<\/p>\n<p>Responding to this deadline, the Banten Provincial Government\nimmediately moved quickly by holding a coordination meeting with village\nofficials and local community leaders. As a result, residents gave full\nsupport to the infrastructure project. \u201cAlhamdulillah, it was well\nreceived by the residents. In fact, one resident of Tunda Island is\nwilling to donate their land for the PLTS to be built there,\u201d he\nrevealed.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the regional government is processing the issuance of the\nRegional Grant Agreement Deed (NPHD) as the main administrative\nrequirement. The Banten Provincial Government is targeting the\ncompletion of all land legality documents by early August. If this\nadministration is completed, physical construction, for which the\nDetailed Engineering Design (DED) has been thoroughly prepared by PLN,\nis targeted to begin directly in October this year.<\/p>",
