The vast
majority is not sorted before being sent to Bantargebang,” Pramono told
journalists at Jakarta City Hall.

Pramono said the Jakarta Provincial Government was preparing two
temporary disposal sites to accommodate waste from Jakarta. The two
additional zones were being set up temporarily whilst awaiting
restoration of the landslide area in zone 4A.

Meanwhile, the Jakarta Basarnas recorded 13 people as victims of the
waste mountain landslide that occurred on Sunday, 8 March 2026.
