I have heard that the Nahdlatul Ulama's (NU) task force,
\nBanser, plans to come to Jakarta. It was reported that in Jakarta
\nthe task force would be directly involved in physical street
\nfights against any opponents to President Abdurrahman \"Gus Dur\"
\nWahid.<\/p>\n
Frankly speaking, I am extremely concerned about this matter,
\nand I am afraid the situation in the capital will be terrible if
\nthe plan is carried out.<\/p>\n
I wonder why the present political as well as security
\ncondition is like this. Why in the world have the warmhearted
\nIndonesians become less friendly people who are ready to kill
\neach other simply for having differences of opinions?<\/p>\n
We all, in particular all NU and Banser members, ought to
\nlisten to Abdurrahman, who has expressed disagreement to the
\nplan. So, there is no need for them to come to Jakarta,
\nespecially because there has been a guarantee from the husband of
\nour Vice President Megawati Soekarnoputri, Taufik Kiemas, and
\nalso from kyai Langitan (most venerated NU ulemas).<\/p>\n
Please, Gus Dur, do not let Banser members realize their plan!<\/p>\n
