        "content": "<p>Banpu ups RI coal production<\/p>\n<p>BANGKOK (AFX-ASIA): Banpu Plc president Chanin Vongkusolkit<br>\nsaid he expects second half consolidated revenue to come in at<br>\n2.90 billion baht.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The company plans to produce 1.2 million tons of coal from<br>\nour Indonesian sites in the second half of the fiscal year which<br>\nends June 2001.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Our total coal capacity at Jurong in Indonesia is 3 million<br>\ntons, but production next fiscal year commencing in July 2001 is<br>\nexpected at 2 mln tons annually.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>He said the company&apos;s three core businesses -- mining, port<br>\nservicing and coal -- are expected to generate a combined 1.6<br>\nbillion baht in annual revenues going forward.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Next year, we expect to see a fall of 1.2 billion baht in<br>\nconsolidated revenues as our contract to supply EGAT&apos;s<br>\n(Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand) Mae Moh plant will<br>\nnot be renewed.
