Soenarko<br>\nsaid on Monday the police had transferred a suspect in the JW<br>\nMarriott Hotel bombing Amran bin Mansur, alias Andi Saputra to<br>\nthe Jakarta Police for investigation.<\/p>\n<p>However, Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Prasetyo declined<br>\nto confirm Soenarko&apos;s statement.<\/p>\n<p>Amran, a Malaysian national, is suspected of taking part in<br>\nthe hotel bombing on Aug. 6 last year. He was arrested in the<br>\nCentral Java town, Surakarta, on Feb. 26 of this year.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We suspect his role in the bombing as one of the suppliers of<br>\nthe explosive materials,&quot; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Previously the police identified Amran as Dahlan.<\/p>\n<p>Soenarko said the arrest followed a tipoff from two other<br>\nsuspects, Tohir and Ismail, who are now being detained.<\/p>\n<p>Two main suspects involved in the hotel bombing, Dr. Azahari<br>\nand Nurdin Moh.
