        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (Bank Sampoerna)\nrecorded total assets throughout 2025 reaching Rp18.2 trillion, or a\ngrowth of 2.69 percent (year on year\/yoy) compared to the previous\nyear.<\/p>\n<p>This growth was accompanied by strengthening on the capital side,\nwith the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) at 29.72 percent. According to the\ncompany, this reflects readiness of capital for sustainable growth.<\/p>\n<p>Bank Sampoerna\u2019s Director of Finance &amp; Business Planning, Henky\nSuryaputra, stated in Jakarta on Tuesday that the company is committed\nto continuing to provide support, both through financing and mentoring,\nas well as collaborating with strategic partners to drive sustainable\nSME growth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis commitment is reflected in the composition of SME credit\ndisbursement, which reached 57.16 percent of total credit disbursed as\nof December 2025,\u201d said Henky.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he stated that SMEs play a strategic role in the overall\nnational economy. If there is an economic slowdown that erodes SME\nactors, the impact will be felt comprehensively.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, said Henky, Bank Sampoerna continues to strive to provide\nsupport through sustainable credit disbursement to the SME sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis situation is certainly not easy, especially amid global and\ndomestic conditions that are still filled with challenges and a slowdown\nin domestic demand, reflected in the moderation of household consumption\nand more limited credit growth, particularly in the SME sector,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>The company stated that it always emphasises quality credit\ndisbursement while upholding prudent principles.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of 2025, Bank Sampoerna\u2019s gross non-performing loan (NPL)\nratio and net NPL were 3.79 percent and 2.28 percent, respectively,\nbetter than the end of 2024 position.<\/p>\n<p>To support SME credit disbursement, third-party funds (DPK) rose to\nRp13.44 trillion, with the composition of low-cost funds (CASA) reaching\n22.73 percent compared to 16.12 percent at the end of 2024.<\/p>\n<p>According to the company, this increase contributed to strengthening\nthe corporate low-cost funds ratio composition, reflecting growing\ncustomer confidence.<\/p>\n<p>Bank Sampoerna CEO Ali Yong said that the adoption of technology in\nthe banking system is essential.<\/p>\n<p>The company supports strengthening corporate digitalisation with\nreliable infrastructure based on Bank as a Service (BaaS).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn reaching customers and SMEs more broadly, we realise we cannot go\nit alone. Therefore, we continue to open collaboration opportunities to\nprovide added value for customers up to the remotest areas,\u201d said\nAli.<\/p>\n<p>Through BaaS services, Ali said that currently more than 50 fintech\ncompanies, multifinance, cooperatives, and other financial institutions\nare involved to bridge customers into the digital financial\necosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to BaaS services, digital transaction activities showed\nsignificant growth throughout 2025, reflected in transaction volume\ngrowing 21 percent yoy from Rp144 trillion in December 2024 to Rp174\ntrillion in December 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, transaction frequency also experienced a surge of more\nthan 1,000 percent from 42 million transactions to 643 million\ntransactions.<\/p>\n<p>The company explained that this infrastructure provides opportunities\nfor partners to develop business potential while strengthening an\ninclusive financial ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to strengthening internal systems, Bank Sampoerna also\nconsistently organises financial literacy activities titled\nSampoernaFest.<\/p>\n<p>In its two years of implementation, this event has introduced\nSampoerna Mobile Banking digital services to thousands of new customers\nand involved 79 local SME partners from various sectors, from culinary\nto lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>Through these various efforts, Ali stated that Bank Sampoerna\ncontinues to commit to channelling financing to support SME growth as\nthe backbone of the national economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn addition, through collaboration with strategic partners, we are\ncommitted to reaching more customers and SMEs, while strengthening a\nsustainable financial ecosystem,\u201d Ali concluded.<\/p>",
