Danantara Indonesia marked one year of its establishment with a\nreflection event held at Wisma Danantara, Jakarta, on Tuesday (11\/3).\nThe event was attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia,\nCabinet Ministers, as well as leaders and all members of Danantara.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo\nSubianto, provided guidance to all Danantara members regarding the\nimportance of maintaining integrity, disciplinary governance, and a\nlong-term orientation in managing state assets to strengthen the\nfoundation of national economic development.<\/p>\n
The President emphasised that Danantara Indonesia was formed to\nensure that state asset management is carried out professionally and\noriented towards the long-term interests of the nation, thereby\nproviding tangible added value for national development and public\nwelfare.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are grateful that Indonesia now has a state investment management\ninstitution that can be compared to global sovereign wealth funds. In\nthis one year, it has already been evident that with good management,\ndisciplined governance, and strong commitment, the performance of state\nasset management can improve significantly. However, this achievement is\njust the beginning. Moving forward, we must continue to strengthen\ngovernance and enhance performance so that state asset management truly\nprovides the maximum benefit for the Indonesian people,\u201d said Prabowo,\nquoted on Wednesday (18\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n
This one-year thanksgiving carried the theme \u201cOne Danantara\u201d, which\nreflects the spirit of all state-owned enterprises (SOEs) to move in\nunison to strengthen the national economic foundation and create broader\nimpacts for future generations.<\/p>\n
CEO of Danantara Indonesia, Rosan Roeslani, stated that the first\nyear of Danantara\u2019s journey focused on building strong institutional\nfoundations and governance, while ensuring that the direction of state\ninvestment management remains grounded in creating long-term benefits\nfor society.<\/p>\n
\u201cState asset management must ultimately provide real impacts for the\nnation\u2019s future. Therefore, commitment to building the future generation\nis also an important part of Danantara Indonesia\u2019s journey,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n
This commitment is reflected not only in strengthening governance and\nthe structure of state asset management but also in various initiatives\nthat affirm that development outcomes must provide tangible benefits for\nsociety, including for Indonesia\u2019s young generation.<\/p>\n
As a symbol of commitment to the future of the nation\u2019s children, on\nthis occasion, a symbolic handover of 88,000 school supply kits for\nchildren across Indonesia was also conducted. This programme was\nimplemented simultaneously by SOEs in various regions as a form of\nsupport for education access and preparation for Indonesia\u2019s Golden\nGeneration.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Bank Mandiri President Director Riduan said that as a\nstrategic partner of the government in promoting equitable access to\neducation and improving the quality of national human resources, Bank\nMandiri actively participated in the initiative by distributing 6,000\nschool supply kits to children in several regions.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis support is part of Bank Mandiri\u2019s ongoing commitment to\nstrengthening the educational foundation for the young generation while\nensuring that Indonesian children have adequate learning facilities to\nachieve a better future, and affirming the company\u2019s role as part of\nDanantara in delivering tangible contributions that directly impact\nsociety,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
