Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia \u2014 PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. (BMRI) is\npreparing IDR 44 trillion in cash to replenish ATMs\/CRMs during the\nperiod of 24th February to 25th March 2026. This is being done to\nmaintain financial system stability and support the smooth flow of\nnational economic activity during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period of\n1447 H.<\/p>\n
Corporate Secretary of Bank Mandiri, Adhika Vista, said that the\nallocation of funds has increased by 5% year-on-year compared to the\nsame period last year, which was IDR 41.9 trillion, in line with\nprojections of increased transaction needs of the public during the holy\nmonth and the peak of the homecoming and Eid al-Fitr period.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe provision of cash is a manifestation of Bank Mandiri\u2019s\ncommitment to providing integrated synergy across our service network,\nso that the transaction needs of the public during Ramadan and Eid\nal-Fitr can be optimally met,\u201d said Adhika in Jakarta, Thursday\n(26\/2\/2026).<\/p>\n
He explained that the average need for cash replenishment is\nestimated to reach IDR 1 trillion to IDR 1.4 trillion per day, in line\nwith increased consumption activity, payment of salaries and Eid bonuses\n(THR) for civil servants (ASN), and public mobility in the lead-up to\nEid al-Fitr 1447 H.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese projections are based on historical transaction patterns and\ntrends in domestic economic growth, which show a significant increase\nduring the Ramadan and Eid periods,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
In line with this, to ensure the smooth flow of non-cash transactions\nduring the peak Eid period, Bank Mandiri is preparing liquidity of IDR\n18 trillion in the Dana Settlement Account (RSD) BI-Fast to anticipate a\nsurge in transactions from 18 to 25 March 2026, or approximately IDR 2.5\ntrillion per day.<\/p>\n
This step strengthens Bank Mandiri\u2019s readiness in maintaining the\nstability of the payment system while supporting accelerated growth\nthrough the optimization of liquidity management and digital transaction\ninfrastructure.<\/p>\n
In addition to the readiness of cash and interbank transaction\nliquidity, Bank Mandiri ensures that all electronic service channels\noperate optimally during the Eid holiday period. The bank, with the\nstock code BMRI, operates 12,900 ATM\/CRM units and 322,000 EDC machines\nspread across Indonesia to support the smooth flow of customer\ntransactions and strengthen the national payment ecosystem.<\/p>\n
Adhika added that customers can also optimize various banking and\nlifestyle transaction needs through Livin\u2019 by Mandiri, which is now used\nby 37.9 million registered users.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Bank Mandiri is also preparing a stock of up to\n1.1 million cards available at branches, the Sukha feature in Livin\u2019 by\nMandiri, retail networks such as Indomaret and Alfamart, official Bank\nMandiri outlets on various e-commerce platforms, and vending machines at\nseveral transportation and station locations.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, from the business ecosystem side, Livin\u2019 Merchant has been\nused by 3.2 million MSME actors, while Kopra by Mandiri is used by\n324,500 users from the business segment to support integrated\ntransaction management and cash management.<\/p>\n
