This liquidity\nreadiness is part of an accelerating strategy to maintain domestic\nconsumption momentum while strengthening the circulation of the people\u2019s\neconomy in various regions.<\/p>\n<p>Bank Mandiri\u2019s Corporate Secretary, Adhika Vista, said that this step\nwas designed through prudent liquidity planning based on national\ntransaction projections, and strengthened by optimizing distribution\ninfrastructure and technology. According to him, this ecosystem-based\napproach ensures sufficient liquidity, service stability, and provides\nsustainable advantages in meeting public transaction needs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe provision of this cash is a manifestation of Bank Mandiri\u2019s\ncommitment to presenting an integrated synergy across our entire service\nnetwork, so that the transaction needs of the public during Ramadan and\nEid al-Fitr can be optimally met,\u201d said Adhika on Wednesday (February\n25).<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the average daily cash replenishment needs are\nestimated to reach IDR 1 trillion to IDR 1.4 trillion, in line with\nincreased consumption activity, payment of salaries and Eid bonuses\n(THR) for civil servants (ASN), and public mobility in the lead-up to\nEid al-Fitr 1447 H. These projections are based on historical\ntransaction patterns and domestic economic growth trends, which show a\nsignificant increase during the Ramadan and Eid periods.<\/p>\n<p>In order to support the smooth distribution of fit-for-purpose\ncurrency during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1447 H, Bank Mandiri is actively\nparticipating in the 2026 \u2018Semarak Rupiah Ramadan and Berkah Idulfitri\u2019\n(SERAMBI) program organized by Bank Indonesia through the provision of\nnew and fit-for-purpose Rupiah currency exchange services with digital\nordering mechanisms on the PINTAR BI application, as well as mobile and\njoint banking exchange points in various regions.<\/p>\n<p>This participation is part of an integrated synergy between the\nbanking industry and the monetary authority to ensure that the exchange\nprocess runs smoothly, safely, and supports the stability of the payment\nsystem amid increasing public transaction needs in the lead-up to Eid\nal-Fitr.<\/p>\n<p>In line with this, to ensure the smooth flow of non-cash transactions\nduring the peak Eid period, Bank Mandiri is preparing liquidity of IDR\n18 trillion in the BI-Fast Settlement Fund Account (RSD) to anticipate a\nsurge in transactions from March 18 to 25, 2026, or approximately IDR\n2.5 trillion per day.<\/p>\n<p>This step strengthens Bank Mandiri\u2019s readiness in maintaining the\nstability of the payment system while supporting accelerating growth\nthrough the optimization of liquidity management and digital transaction\ninfrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the readiness of cash and interbank transaction\nliquidity, Bank Mandiri ensures that all electronic service channels\noperate optimally during the Eid holiday period. The bank, whose stock\ncode is BMRI, operates 12,900 ATM\/CRM units and 322,000 EDC machines\nspread throughout Indonesia to support the smooth transactions of\ncustomers and strengthen the national payment ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Adhika added that customers can also optimize various banking and\nlifestyle transaction needs through Livin\u2019 by Mandiri, which is now used\nby 37.9 million registered users. Through this digital service, people\ncan fulfill various needs such as checking balances, transfers, paying\nmonthly bills &amp; e-commerce, topping up e-money and e-wallets, and\nmaking payments with QRIS. In fact, customers can also book train,\nplane, and tourist attraction tickets through the Sukha feature on this\nsuper app.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the Mandiri e-money top-up feature on Livin\u2019 by Mandiri,\ncustomers who travel on toll roads will be greatly facilitated because\ntop-ups can be done anywhere and anytime,\u201d added Adhika.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, for people who do not yet have a Mandiri e-money card,\nBank Mandiri is preparing a stock of up to 1.1 million cards that are\navailable at branches, the Sukha feature on Livin\u2019 by Mandiri, retail\nnetworks such as Indomaret and Alfamart, official Bank Mandiri outlets\non various e-commerce platforms, and vending machines at several\ntransportation and station locations.
