        "content": "<p>Bank Mandiri posted a net profit of Rp23.3 trillion during January to\nMay 2026, representing an 18.6% year-on-year (yoy) increase. The\nprofitability growth trend helped maintain the bank\u2019s return on equity\n(ROE) at a stable level of around 20%. As of the end of May 2026, Bank\nMandiri\u2019s bank-only total assets were recorded at Rp2,306 trillion,\ngrowing 20.0% compared to the same period the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>Director of Finance &amp; Strategy at Bank Mandiri, Novita Widya\nAnggraini, stated that the achievement was inseparable from the\nintermediation function, which continues to show a positive trend.\nDuring the first five months of 2026, the bank, listed under the ticker\ncode BMRI, disbursed loans worth Rp1,580 trillion on a bank-only basis,\nup 20.6% yoy. Novita said the credit flowed into productive sectors,\nranging from industrial downstreaming to the MSME segment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis performance is the result of measured and consistent strategy\nexecution across all business lines, with disciplined and prudent risk\nmanagement to maintain healthy growth in the long term,\u201d Novita said in\nan official statement on Friday (26\/6).<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, on the funding side, total bank-only third-party funds\n(DPK) also grew 22.0% yoy to Rp1,716 trillion. This was supported by\nlow-cost funds (current account and saving account\/CASA), with current\naccounts reaching Rp664 trillion and savings amounting to Rp559\ntrillion.<\/p>\n<p>The growth was also driven by the sustained performance of Bank\nMandiri\u2019s digital services, Livin\u2019 by Mandiri and Kopra by Mandiri,\nwhich continued to record increased usage. Besides boosting digital\ntransaction growth, the rising number of users on both platforms also\nstrengthened financial literacy and expanded access to technology-based\nfinancial services. This, she said, aligns with Danantara\u2019s vision of\nensuring state assets are managed effectively, productively, and provide\nbroader benefits for the Indonesian people.<\/p>\n<p>Novita added that the integrated synergy between the digital\necosystem and physical network allows customers to manage their finances\ncomprehensively within a single service platform. Going forward, she\nconfirmed that Bank Mandiri will continue to strengthen its role as a\nstrategic partner to the government through financing national priority\nprogrammes.
