        "content": "<p>Republika.co.id, Jakarta \u2014 Bank Jakarta has won the Indonesia Best\nCorporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the Banking Sector 2026 award\nat the 8th Anniversary Indonesia Best CSR Awards 2026, organised by The\nIconomics in Jakarta on Wednesday, 21 May 2026. The award recognises\ncontributions and execution of corporate social responsibility and\nsocial and environmental responsibility programs that are deemed to have\na significant impact on society.<\/p>\n<p>Bank Jakarta\u2019s President Director Agus H Widodo said the award is a\nform of appreciation for the company\u2019s commitment to implementing CSR\nand TJSL in a sustainable manner.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The execution of Bank Jakarta\u2019s CSR\/TJSL is part of the\nimplementation of the Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG)\nprinciples, adoption of good corporate governance, and support for\ndevelopment in Jakarta,\u2019 Agus said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that Bank Jakarta\u2019s CSR\/TJSL programs have so far\nfocused on education, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs),\nenvironment, sanitation, health, and community empowerment. In 2025, a\nnumber of programs had been realised and are considered to have had a\ndirect impact on the community.<\/p>\n<p>One of the programs implemented is the construction of a communal\nseptic tank installation based on biogas or biodigester in the Pekayon,\nPasar Rebo area, East Jakarta. The environmentally friendly sanitation\nprogram is said to be part of the company\u2019s efforts to support\nsustainable urban development.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Bank Jakarta also channelled training support assistance\nfor disabled friends under the care of the Indonesia Disabled Solidarity\nFoundation (YaSDI). The assistance was provided as support for improving\nskills and economic independence of people with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, Bank Jakarta\u2019s Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi\nemphasised that the company would continue to enhance its social\ncontributions through various sustainable CSR\/TJSL programs that have a\ndirect impact on society.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Bank Jakarta will continue to implement CSR\/TJSL that directly\nimpacts development in Jakarta and increases community empowerment,\u2019\nArie said.<\/p>",
