Bank Jakarta has opened a Mudik Rest Station at Rest Area KM 429 in\nSemarang to provide services to travellers during the Lebaran holiday\nexodus until 20 March 2026. According to Bank Jakarta\u2019s President\nDirector Agus H. Widodo, the establishment of the Mudik Rest Station\nreflects the bank\u2019s commitment to supporting public comfort and safety\nduring the mudik journey.<\/p>\n
Agus stated that the Mudik Rest Station programme, being undertaken\nby Bank Jakarta for the first time, aims to strengthen the bank\u2019s\nrelationship with communities outside Jakarta and raise awareness of\nBank Jakarta during the Lebaran mudik season, a key tradition for\nIndonesian society. \u201cSemarang is also one of the key mudik destinations\nfor Jakarta residents,\u201d Agus noted.<\/p>\n
The Bank Jakarta Mudik Rest Station, developed in collaboration with\nTV One, is equipped with various facilities for travellers, including\nrest areas, massage chairs, free Wi-Fi, and free chargers. Bank Jakarta\nis also offering attractive promotions at the rest station, including\nsouvenirs for customers opening new accounts and cashback for QRIS\ntransactions through the JakOne Mobile Bank Jakarta application.<\/p>\n
Hanifah, a Jakarta resident who visited the Bank Jakarta Mudik Rest\nStation, expressed appreciation for the available facilities. She noted\nthat the rest station made her family\u2019s mudik journey more comfortable,\nallowing them to rest briefly before continuing their travel. \u201cThe\nfacilities are comfortable and clean, so we could rest for a while to\nrecover energy before resuming our journey. The presence of a rest\nstation like this is very helpful for mudik travellers covering long\ndistances,\u201d Hanifah said.<\/p>\n
