"summary": "Bank Indonesia (BI) will exempt major money and foreign exchange market dealers from the ban on selling Non-Deliverable Forward (NDF) foreign exchange transactions against the rupiah in overseas markets, aiming to strengthen monetary operations through offshore NDF interventions to maintain rupiah stability. The exemption requires banks to apply to BI and meet strict conditions, including no transactions with foreign affiliates, using NDFs only for covering purposes, having credit support agreements with at least six domestic banks or central counterparty membership, and submitting regular reports. This policy, subject to three-month reviews, underscores BI's efforts to enhance financial market resilience amid rupiah volatility.",
