        "content": "<p>Bank Indonesia (BI) Governor Perry Warjiyo has resigned from his\nposition, submitting a formal letter to President Prabowo on Sunday, 26\nJuly 2026. The position will temporarily be filled by BI Senior Deputy\nGovernor Destry Damayanti, who will serve as acting governor in\naccordance with the Bank Indonesia Law. During a press conference at the\nBI building in Jakarta, Destry stated that the resignation was voluntary\nand due to personal reasons. \u2018The resignation of Mr Perry Warjiyo from\nthe position of BI Governor was voluntary, due to personal reasons on 25\nJuly 2026,\u2019 Destry said on Monday, 27 July 2026.
