        "content": "<p>PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk recorded a consolidated net profit for\nthe period of Rp 1.1 trillion in the first quarter of 2026. This figure\nrepresents a 35% growth compared to the same period in the previous\nyear.<\/p>\n<p>Danamon recorded consolidated operational income before provisioning\nof Rp 2.6 trillion, or a 12% year-on-year increase. With a 13%\nyear-on-year improvement in credit costs, Danamon booked a consolidated\noperational profit of Rp 1.6 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>From a profitability perspective, Danamon achieved a net interest\nmargin (NIM) of 7.6%. \u201cDanamon has started 2026 with strong financial\nperformance, recording growth in loan disbursements, fund mobilisation,\nand profitability, while maintaining asset quality by prioritising\nprudence,\u201d said Danamon\u2019s President Director Nobuya Kawasaki in a press\nrelease, quoted on Friday, 1 May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of financial intermediation, Danamon booked total\nconsolidated loans and trade finance of Rp 216.2 trillion, or a 9%\nyear-on-year growth. This growth was supported by 11% loan growth in the\nEnterprise Banking &amp; Financial Institution business line, 9% in the\nSME Banking business line, 7% in the Consumer Banking business line, and\n5% in the Adira Finance business line.<\/p>\n<p>On the fund mobilisation side, Danamon recorded total consolidated\ncurrent accounts, savings accounts (current account and savings account\nor CASA), and deposits of Rp 176.1 trillion, or a 16% year-on-year\ngrowth.
