This support is\ndemonstrated through participation in the 2026 BUMN Free Mudik Programme\n\u2018Safe Mudik, Sharing Hope\u2019, organised by the State-Owned Enterprises\nRegulatory Agency (BP BUMN).<\/p>\n<p>The ceremonial departure of mudik travellers under the 2026 BUMN Free\nMudik Programme took place at Stadion GBK in Jakarta on Tuesday (17\/03).\nThe event was held simultaneously at various mudik departure points in\nthe Jabodetabek area. In the event, BRI transported 5,050 mudik\ntravellers taking Lebaran 2026 leave, with 101 buses prepared.<\/p>\n<p>Present at the 2026 BUMN Free Mudik ceremony were the Head of BP BUMN\nDony Oskaria, Deputy Head of BP BUMN Teddy Barata, Coordinating Minister\nfor Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono,\nHead of the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas Polri)\nInspector General of Police Agus Suryonugroho, BRI Deputy Director\nViviana Dyah Ayu Retno Kumalasari, BRI Micro Director Akhmad\nPurwakajaya, and other directors of state-owned enterprises.<\/p>\n<p>The 2026 BUMN Free Mudik Programme \u2018Safe Mudik, Sharing Hope\u2019\ninvolves 96 state-owned enterprises and their subsidiaries. This mudik\nuses three main modes of transport: bus, train, and sea vessel,\nsuccessfully transporting 116,668 mudik travellers covering journeys to\nmore than 200 cities and regencies across Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Dony Oskaria stated that the BUMN Free Mudik Programme is a tangible\nmanifestation of state-owned enterprises\u2019 commitment to be present and\nprovide direct benefits to the community, especially during important\nmoments like Eid al-Fitr. Through this programme, the state, via\nstate-owned enterprises, helps the community realise safer and more\ncomfortable mudik journeys.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe BUMN Free Mudik Programme is a manifestation of gotong royong\nand state-owned enterprises\u2019 care for the community. We want to ensure\nthat the community can undertake mudik journeys more safely,\ncomfortably, and without incident, while also helping to reduce traffic\ndensity during the Lebaran period,\u201d said Dony in a written statement on\nThursday (19\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, BRI Corporate Secretary Dhanny revealed that as part of\nDanantara, BRI plays a role in supporting the implementation of the 2026\nBUMN Free Mudik by providing safe and standard bus transport. The\nprogramme aims to help reduce traffic congestion and the use of private\nvehicles so that Lebaran 2026 mudik can run smoothly.<\/p>\n<p>In this programme, BRI provides free mudik with routes from Jakarta\nto Yogyakarta (via Southern Route), Jakarta to Wonogiri (via Northern\nRoute), and Jakarta to Surabaya (via Trans-Java Toll Road). BRI also\nensures that this programme not only offers cost-free transport\nfacilities but is also designed with attention to passenger safety and\ncomfort standards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is BRI\u2019s real commitment to supporting safe and comfortable\nmudik journeys to the destination. We release the mudik travellers with\nthe hope that the journey goes smoothly and they arrive at their\ndestination to celebrate Lebaran with their beloved families,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Dhanny added that, besides the 2026 BUMN Free Mudik Programme, BRI\nalso provides other mudik programmes with very high enthusiasm from the\ncommunity. Overall, this year BRI has transported 12,352 mudik\ntravellers with 238 bus fleets.<\/p>\n<p>To support the implementation of the 2026 BUMN Free Mudik, BRI also\nprovides BRImo Mudik Posts 2026 at five rest areas on the Jakarta-Java\ntoll road route. These locations are at Rest Area KM 57\n(Jakarta-Cikampek toll road section), Rest Area KM 228 (Jakarta-Central\nJava toll road section), and Rest Area KM 429 (Semarang-Solo toll road\nsection). Additionally, posts are available at Rest Area KM 97\n(Cipularang toll road from Bandung-Jakarta) and Rest Area KM 752\n(Jombang-Mojokerto toll road section) for the return flow.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt each BRImo Mudik Post, we provide various services such as\nmedical services from health personnel, entertainment services for mudik\ntravellers, massage chair services, cheap redemption for takjil, and\nvarious attractive promotions during the period.
